Our mission is to provide a serene, safe, and welcoming space for our students, encouraging self-inquiry, reflection, and ultimate transformation.
“EMBODYOGA® is an experiential investigation into, and enlivening of, cellular awareness, and the creative spark of life that animates our very existence. Our goal: witnessing the Divine manifesting into form.” -Patty Townsend
Yoga Union, focuses on the union of mind and body in your yoga practice. Offering Vinyasa, Gentle, Restorative and Yin classes for all levels and Yoga Teacher Training for future yogis. We are in Unionville, Connecticut and serve students from Collinsville, Canton, Avon, Farmington, Simsbury, West Hartford and Farmington Valley.
At Yoga Union, our skilled teachers are nurtured and their voices are heard and respected. We blend our teaching expertise together with love, compassion and self-acceptance to give our students the unique yoga experience they deserve. We seek to be a community rich in happiness, peace, with a strong dose of connection to each other and to oneself.
Our Yoga classes range from very gentle to very vigorous. We incorporate the principles of alignment taught in the major schools of yoga today, along with the principles of inner- alignment, that are presented in our own Embodyoga®programs.
Workshops and Series
We periodically offer different workshops and series to our students. If you’re looking to deepen your yoga study or re-introduce yourself to your yoga practice we can help you out. Workshops are generally one day and the series operate on a weekly basis for a period of a few weeks.
Steeped in ancient wisdom and informed by cutting-edge study in the field of body-awareness, EMBODYOGA® introduces us to “embodied-inquiry” techniques that invite us deeper into ourselves.
As the studio life is temporarily paused we are switching to bringing some video classes to you.
We are experimenting with different formats and platforms so bear with us as we all work through it.
So roll-out your mat and come practice with us from your home.
